This is THE province of Spain specialized in olive and the largest producer of olive oil. With 60 million planted trees (more than Spaniards in the country), Jaen province concentrates 50% of the national production and 20% of the world production.

Day 1: Granada - Cazorla

Day 2: Cazorla

Breakfast on the terrace or inside (according to the weather), and departure to discover the forest with the walkings sticks available in your room. Many loops are possible with different level of difficulty and time. As an introduction a Nature room vas created in hotel's courtyard in order to show to visitors the different animal and plant species they are likely to encounter during their hike. You can also enjoy this nature day to descend the river on a kayak or rafting.

Day 3: Cazorla - Úbeda

Private transport from Cazorla to Ubeda.


Your English-speaking guide will show you Úbeda, its craftmen and its architecture masterpieces. Capital of Andalusian Renaissance, the city counts 48 monuments and more than a hundred of buildings presenting an artistic interest. That is why the city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.


Among the possible visits, the « Water Synagogue » is probably one of the most unusual monuments (30 minutes visit in small groups only). Opened to the public since 2010 after its accidental discovery during demolition works in 2007, this synagogue of the 14th century will let you discover how the Jewish communities used to live at that time. It’s also a place which was occupied during the inquisition. A well-kept treasure ! Don’t leave Úbeda before going for a walk on the fortification to admire the olive trees ocean that surround the city and before tasting the « ochíos », small breads made with olive oil and paprika, which give them a particular flavor, that you can eat at any time of the day.

Day 4: Úbeda


Devoted day to olives, your visit will start by the Oil and Olive Interpretation Center. This interactive center is at once a museum, a training, a tasting and a meeting place. It is the perfect starting point to learn and understand this industry which sustains the whole province.

Day 5: Úbeda - Jaén - Baeza - Jaén

Private transfer to Baeza before ending to Jaén.


Your English-speaking guide will show you the historical center of Baeza, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As Úbeda its elder sister, Baeza has an incredible legacy of Renaissance style.

The numerous palaces and churches contrast with the typical white houses of Andalusia.

Don’t be surprised if you meet many young people wearing uniforms, the academy of the Guardia Civil is situated in the city.

Located at the heart of Jaén province, Baeza is also a perfect place to taste its pure olive oil, the essential ingredient of the Mediterranean diet. To learn more about it, you can visit the Olive Culture Museum.

Day 6: Jaén

Today, a half-day city tour of Jaén is waiting for you.
Our tour begins at 10:00.
You can find in Jaen impressive monuments such as the Cathedral of the Renaissance of the Assumption of the Virgin, considered one of the finest in Spain. After visiting the Cathedral and Plaza Santa María, you will visit the Palace of Villadompardo (sixteenth century) and the Arab Baths Hammam Al-Walad (eleventh century), also called "Children's Baths" and who are in the cellars of the palace.
However, the most spectacular and emblematic monument remains the Jaén Castle of Santa Catalina, it dominates the whole city from the balcony of the white cross that is on the top of the hill, accessible by a beautiful path of stones. Currently the castle is occupied by a luxury hotel chain Paradores Nacionales from where you can choose to spend your night.
